Three keepsakes you will want from your wedding

They say that planning a wedding is one of the most stressful times in your life, but for many brides the actual wedding day can also be very taxing as well – you know you need to look pretty and try and enjoy yourself but you are also aware that your Nan has not been seated yet and that the Best man appears more drunk than you would like.

However, there are a few things that you should put in the hands of someone else to ensure that you get the best keepsakes from your wedding which you’ll be able to show people for years and years to come.

The guest book

Many venues, especially those in Leicester and other Midlands cities, really urge couples to get themselves a nice guest book for all their wedding attendees to leave a nice little message for them about the day.

It is very difficult to talk to everyone at a wedding and this way you will be able to see what people enjoyed the most.

Wedding garter

This is seen as a tradition for a wedding, Leicester, as an example has many bridal shops with an array of different coloured garters but some people throw them away after the big day thinking they are nothing to bother keeping. But this is a big mistake. Some women pass down garters through generations as they are seen as special and sentimental.

The little bride and groom on the top of your wedding cake are perfect keepsakes. Some wedding cakes shops actually make them to look like you and your partner.

So as you can see there are at least three things you would want to keep from your wedding day.
